About StorageCraft

StorageCraft is an open learning lab for storage engineering and AI infrastructure. It replaces passive diagrams with models you can change, terminals you can operate, and failures you can safely trigger.

Manmeet Nain · @manmeetnain

Enterprise Storage Engineer working across IBM, EMC, Brocade, Cisco, SAN/NAS, and the infrastructure beneath modern AI. The project packages that experience into free, inspectable tools for new hires, practitioners, educators, and systems builders.

  • Operate before memorizing. Every flagship topic should lead to a useful experiment.
  • Show the assumptions. Calculators expose formulas, constraints, and limitations.
  • Practice failure safely. Labs make recovery behavior visible without touching production.
  • Teach the full path. Storage, fabric, CPU, memory, and accelerator trade-offs belong in one mental model.
  • Verify before publishing. Tests, primary sources, accessibility checks, and reproducible commands are part of the artifact.

Storage mechanics, RAID and erasure coding, filesystems, database internals, NVMe, SAN operations, AI data paths, GPU memory, RAG storage, reproducible benchmarks, and practical AI workflows.

You can propose a topic, report a focused bug, improve a source, or contribute an accessible experiment. See the contribution guide for the quality contract.

If this work helps you learn or teach, star StorageCraft and share the exact lab that was useful. That signal helps the project reach the next learner.
